1. Kona, Hawaii (February 18)
Arrive for one night at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai, located on the exclusive Kona-Kohala Coast before jetting off to Australia. Guests enjoy a welcome dinner and are encouraged to book a spa treatment infused with local ingredients such as hibiscus and black lava salt. Enthusiastic golfers can arrive early to play a bonus round of golf or experience a one-day Hualalai Golf Hale Retreat with a dedicated golf pro to analyze their swing using data and simulator technologies including SAM PuttLab, TrackMan, Gears, and Foresight, before receiving additional instruction during a nine-hole playing lesson on the Jack Nicklaus-designed Hualalai Golf Course. Can’t sleep? The resort can organize a glow-in-the-dark golf scramble for the group.
2. Melbourne and Tasmania, Australia (February 20–23)
The golf itinerary officially begins on the West Course at Royal Melbourne Golf Club, consistently ranked as one of the world’s preeminent courses. Guests stay at the Park Hyatt Melbourne and can also fit in rounds at Cape Wickham Links or Lost Farm at Barnbougle.
3. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (February 24–26)
Your next tee times will include rounds of golf played on both the East Course and the West Course at TPC Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. The East Course is known for shorter holes and tight fairways, while water is in play on 13 holes on the West Course, which adds a significant challenge. Optional daily excursions in and around Kuala Lumpur include tours of temples and local markets. Guests stay at the high-rise Four Seasons Hotel, a prestigious social hub of the city.
4. Da Nang, Vietnam (February 27–March 1)
After flying less than three hours west, guests can enjoy the pristine beaches and acclaimed courses of Vietnam’s central coast. Newly refreshed, Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai, Hoi An—known for its three iconic pools cascading to the beach—provides ample respite between sessions at the Dunes Course at BRG Danang Golf Resort (designed by Greg Norman) and the Ba Na Hills Golf Club (by Luke Donald). Norman’s course resembles many Scottish layouts with natural terrain and sand dunes. The front nine at Ba Na Hills is relatively flat, whereas the back nine features rolling hills.
5. Muscat, Oman (March 2–4)
Experience the Arabian Peninsula while playing at two of Muscat’s finest golf courses: Al Mouj Golf club overlooks the Arabian Sea, and for an equally captivating view, the Muscat Hills Golf & Country Club’s vibrant fairways are contrasted by the beige and purple hues of the Arabian desert. Guests stay at The Chedi Muscat, right on the Gulf of Oman at the foot of the majestic Al Hajar Mountains.
6. Kigali, Rwanda (March 5–7)
Arrive at “the land of a thousand hills” and be introduced to three different lodges: Singita Kwitonda Lodge, One&Only Gorilla’s Nest, and Bisate Lodge. After golfing Gary Player Design’s new par-72 course at Kigali Golf Club, guests spend the remainder of the trip exploring the Rwandan rainforest by trekking through the Virunga Mountains and bamboo forests to get a glimpse of endangered mountain gorillas.
7. Marrakech, Morocco (March 8–11)
Tee off for the last time in the mesmerizing Red City. Marrakech is home to two renowned golf courses. The Fairmont Royal Palm Golf Club was designed by Cabell B. Robinson and plays like a golf course laid out in a botanical garden of palm, orange, and olive trees. Assoufid Golf Club, known for its backdrop of snow-capped mountains, was awarded Africa’s best golf course in 2017. Guests retreat each day to the tranquil Mandarin Oriental surrounded by olive groves.
