Bathtub
A work of functional art, Ann Sacks' Claudette Freestanding Bathtub—part of the Claudette Suite for the brand's Curated Bath Collection—is cut from a single block of Catia Black marble. Showcasing a soothingly deep charcoal black with pure, crystalline white quartz veining, the tub is more than just elegance. Marble's capacity to retain heat gives the Claudette tub a singular ability to maintain temperature while the smooth, perfectly carved interior encourages a relaxing soak. $37,340; annsacks.com

Tile
Reminiscent of the organic split-stone walls you often see in Tuscan villas, Ceramica Fioranese's new Mashup Dolomia features a Spaccato effect—a gravelly, coarse-grain finish that exudes a luxurious tactility. Actually a porcelain stoneware, it takes inspiration from the natural limestone of the Italian Dolomites. The water-resistant and antibacterial properties of porcelain stoneware also render it an optimal, hygienic choice for the bath. Shown in beige. Price upon request; nascostonetile.com
Fixtures
Salvatori, specialists since 1946 on contemporary uses of marble, has introduced its first tap collection, called Spaghetti, by Sicilian-born designer Elisa Ossino. The new faucet systems are fashioned from gunmetal with textured ribbing, awakening the sense of touch. They are sealed with eco-friendly PVD coating for more protection against scratching and corrosion than traditional materials such as chrome, brass, or nickel. The collection includes taps for washbasins, bidets, showers, and bathtubs. The tub filler is shown here with Ossino’s Balnea Bathtub, $61,500. Fixture prices upon request; salvatoriofficial.com
