BOATS
Being on the water can create many memorable experiences—watching pelicans dive-bomb for their dinner and dolphins playing among the waves, seeing the flash of a blue marlin jumping out of the water. See maximum-color sunrises and sunsets, followed by star shows like no other. There's an old adage: You can't buy happiness, but you can buy a boat.

Northrop & Johnson

According to Northrop & Johnson's chief commercial officer, Crom Littlejohn, the past 36 months have been some of the company's most exciting. While COVID-19 has brought challenges, many (including many first-time boaters) found boating the perfect way to isolate themselves while offering the ideal alternative to the typical family vacation, allowing families and friends a combination of relaxation and togetherness. From generational to first-time owners, old to young, yachting has become a safe getaway. "We've had lifelong boaters who had stepped away from boating due to age jump back in as they wanted to provide their families with the comfort, safety, and convenience yachting offers," Littlejohn says. "A significant number of sales each month now come from transactions on vessels that never hit the market," he adds. "The many new boaters that have entered the market in the past three years suggest that the industry will remain strong and competitive for years to come."
