Helle Mardahl Glasswork
At the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2023 furniture fair, the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship paired artisans with sponsors for their Doppia Firma exhibition. Among the highlights was the glasswork of Danish designer Helle Mardahl, who presented a series of whimsical Bon Bon jars and containers in cheery color combinations. $465–$3,850; hellemardahl.com

Anni Cernea Crystal Vases
For her Cliffhanger vases, Sweden-based designer Anni Cernea derived inspiration from modernist glass houses cantilevered over cliffs. Similarly, these mouth-blown crystal vases (there are also bowls and drinkware) seem precariously perched on the edge of marble blocks in various colors, including two kinds of veined white stone, plus green, pink, and black. $536; annicernea.com
Soho Home Marble Bowl
The ridged architectural detail on the Brutalist building that contains 180 House, one of the Soho House private member clubs in London, was the jumping-off point for the Charlecote marble bowl from Soho Home. The green marble and elegant sculptural form of the bowl make it an interesting accessory piece on its own or filled with fruit or dry food (not safe for wet food). $585; sohohome.com
Blue Green Works Table Lamp
Candelabras date back to classical antiquity. But this electrified Candle Table Lamp from Blue Green Works is thoroughly modern: a minimalist, triple-armed design crafted of stainless steel by a workshop in upstate New York that specializes in custom bicycle frames and motorcycle parts. It is available with or without bronze brazed joints and comes with three LED bulbs. $2,800; bluegreenworks.com
Frette Sheets
With the release of its Naturalismo collection, Frette becomes a force in the 100-percent-organic-cotton sheet category. Fibers are cleaned using sustainable processes, spun, and colored with dye derived from organic, dried poppy petals. Dye plants are composted or made into pellets and, on behalf of the product launch, the company supported financially Mexico’s Michoacán monarch butterfly habitat. From $4,825; frette.com
Maison D’ORSAY Fragrance
French architect and designer Sophie Dries has invented a new way of perfuming interiors. The Olfactory Column, made exclusively for Maison D’ORSAY in Paris, consists of a cork cylinder that sits in a base of either travertine, selenite, green onyx, or turned limewood. Each package comes with a different fragrance that is sprayed onto the cork about once a week. $240–$457, depending on base material; dorsay.com
Talianna Home Tableware
Mother-daughter designers Anna Rabinowicz and Talia Fine of Talianna Home looked to patterns of resilient Amazonian lily pads for their new collection of tableware. The line includes coasters, catchall trays, platters, a three-tiered stand, plates, and bowls, all with the plant’s veins rendered in 24-karat gold. Various limited-edition base colors are available: white, pink, lilac, sky blue, and plum. $50–$300; taliannahome.com
Cynthia Rowley and Armani/Casa Playing Cards
The latest category for fashion designers to explore? Extra-large playing cards. Both Cynthia Rowley (in partnership with Beringer Vineyards) and Armani/Casa have produced decks of oversize cards bearing imagery emblematic of their brands. Rowley’s Wild & Refined deck juxtaposes bright color and pattern with elegant silhouettes and incorporates Beringer iconography. Clubroom Candleholders
Italian metal sculptor and designer Osanna Visconti created a capsule collection of candleholders for Clubroom, an offshoot of the popular online gallery Invisible Collection. Foglie means “leaves” in Italian, which is what these forms recall.
